We did plastic every thing and it saved a bunch of clean up so don't ever think that you are a crazy plastic person in this case overbord is better . But I've had 20 years of dogs and a leaking fish tank that had done a lot of damage to the wood under the carpet after pulling up the carpet in really thought it would have to have carpet again But a friend recommended Willams Hardwood Specialist and just like that I have beautiful wood floors...3 days and the job is done I would highly recommend Williams Hardwood Specialist.
